Off Grid Study, Attleborough

Off Grid Renewable Electricity and Heating/Hot Water Energy Review for a new bungalow

Renewable Technologies

Solar PV system
Condensing Oil Boiler
Heat Pump
Wind Turbine
Biomass Boiler
Solar Thermal

Study Outcomes*

undefined 10,000 kWh of renewable electricity could be potentially generated by solar PV
system and wind turbine per year
undefined £2,952 annual income from Feed in Tariff (FIT) scheme, and up to £2,298 annual
income from Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme
undefined Up to 5,235 kg of CO2 emissions savings per year

Our client intends to install the 5.0 kW wind turbine and 4.0 kWp solar PV with a battery system
and a heating oil boiler. The client will be electricity self-sufficient and the FIT income will pay all
the heating oil costs.

If you are interested in renewable energy technologies, want to know whether your site is suitable and how much energy & CO2 emissions you could save contact our office on 01953 798112.

*Based on site specific conditions, technology quotations and FIT & RHI rates as available in June 2010.

Off grid evaluation demonstrates energy generation is feasible Clean Energy has recently completed an off grid renewable electricity feasibility study for a client with planning permission to convert a rurally located barn into a new home where the costs to connect to the grid network were considered prohibitive (in excess of £110,000.00).
