Hartlepower CIC School Community Solar PV Installation

Clean Energy Consultancy Ltd (CEC) provided impartial advice to Paul Hewitson and his team at Hartlepool CIC to evaluate a roof mounted solar PV array at West Park School in Hartlepool

The CEC site survey was funded using the Urban Community Energy Fund (UCEF) grant. This grant does not impact on Feed in Tariff (FIT) income and funds consultancy and planning advice, for not for profit organisations such as Community Interest Companies.

The school solar PV is a 25.0 kWp roof array installed by Your Energy Source Ltd. The solar PV will generate an estimated 21,000 kWh per year, and will save an estimated 10.8 tonnes of CO2 and an estimated £1,260.00 - £2,520.00 in school electricity costs per year.

If your organisation requires assistance, please call Andrew Robertson at Clean Energy Consultancy Ltd on 01953 798112 for impartial feasibility advice, technical support and funding advice.

Off grid evaluation demonstrates energy generation is feasible Clean Energy has recently completed an off grid renewable electricity feasibility study for a client with planning permission to convert a rurally located barn into a new home where the costs to connect to the grid network were considered prohibitive (in excess of £110,000.00).
