Further building surveyed for Southend Borough Council

A number of buildings have been surveyed as part of an ongoing project for Southend Borough Council who is seeking to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs and find innovative ways of bringing revenue to the area.

A number of renewable technologies are being considered depending upon site conditions including heat pumps, biomass, solar photovoltaics, wind turbines and anaerobic digestion. “Our feasibility work will enable the council to clearly identify the benefits and uncertainties of renewable technologies and instigate a programme of implementation.” Andrew Robertson, MD
