Renewable Heat Incentive approvals continue to increase

Whilst the number of small biomass applications to the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme has reduced, there has been an increase in heat pump applications

Whilst the number of small biomass applications to the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme has reduced, there has been an increase in heat pump applications.  Approvals into the scheme increased by 38% in the July to September quarter when compared to the same period in 2014 with the vast majority of these in the biomass category.

 

Micro Combined Heat and Power Renewable Energy Feasibility at Poultry Farm Clean Consultancy Energy Ltd recently conducted a renewable energy feasibility for a biomass micro combined heat and power that generates 100 kWth (heat) and 50 kWe (electricity) to supplement the existing two 199 kW biomass boilers.
