Small biomass tariff reduction results in increased applications

With the announcement of a 5% reduction in the small biomass tariff , the number of clients coming forward for assistance with non-domestic RHI accreditation increased by 35% in June.

“Following the end of May announcement which detailed the tariff reduction, there was a surge in the number of applicants who sought our expert advice to help them submit a full application before the 30th June deadline. We allocated additional resource to ensure all the applications went in and are pleased to report that all were successfully accredited.”

Lyn Robertson, RHI consultant.
